My preacher says it all the time, that I need to stop and enjoy the journey.

I admit, that as a society today, we get bogged down, discouraged, hurt, bruised and even worse, we give up.

We fail because, usually, we forget to ask a basic question to ourselves…

Where are we wanting to go on this journey? To make more money land? To I want to be happy forest? Where are we going to so quickly that we forgot to enjoy the journey, the fun part of getting to where we want to go?

This is serious people.

It means we have stopped enjoying the fullness of life, in order to get to some “place” of more money, a bigger something, more security, for what?

If we don’t do something excellently, why do it at all?

I was talking with Chris Brogan, and we were talking about the fact that most people regard success in terms of numbers. More money, more subscribers, more whatever. But, we need to stop and say, “Hey, unless this is excellent, unless my work is top-notch exciting, or I do things to tbe best of my worth, why should I bother with it?”

So, excellence is awesome. But there is bad news.

Excellence takes time and we do not like to wait. So, the waiting is like a forward momentum, in a way. Be patient, breath out, and keep going. Enjoy your journey.

What do you think about this discussion? How have you stopped enjoying your journey?
